Core Keeper set for a massive update in January with a new boss, automation, new weapons and lots more

This might be the most exciting update for Core Keeper yet bringing in loads of new tools and a big boss battle to the mining sandbox adventure. It has Native Linux support and is Steam Deck Verified.

You'll be able to jump in when update releases on January 28th, when it also arrives on Nintendo Switch 2.

What's in it? A ridiculous amount by the sounds of it. They're not giving out exactly what, we'll have to wait for the patch notes at release day. Some of what they explained includes a whole new Beyond the Passage biome with a huge boss battle and brand new automation systems. Since there's new enemies, you also get new tools including: miniguns, mortars, grenades, remote detonators and even a flamethrower.
