We already knew that the Linux port of Van Helsing was put on hold, but now it seems the developers aren't going to port any of them to Linux.

The developers clarified it here:
QuoteWe don’t plan to port our games to Linux for now.

The good news is that Victor Vran from the Tropico developers is actually really good, and a bigger post will come for it soon. So, don't be too upset. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

Be smart, don't give credit where it's not due. I have seen sexy sale there. And I didn't buy it, even though in a few places it was reported game is coming and I had too much saliva in my mouth, I held myself... So, f*** em. Don't buy it.

Paying full prise for good port - is worth it.

but why? Why they dropped the Linux port of Van Helsing that was already been worked on? an "why" is always welcome.

I'm glad I didn't buy this game now, was really excited to buy it as a gift and save.

I appreciate this article for being concise and to the point, without undue commiserating over this unsatisfactory situation. Better to focus ourselves on other good looking native ports. Cheers

I was one of those who bought it thinking about their linux version. Won't happen again.

Another annoyance. I've played the first two games in the series on windows and I was looking forward to playing the upcoming third on Linux. Guess I'll invest in "Victor Vran" instead.

WTF. They put out a beta for the first one, and everything... Now they're giving up entirely? WTF.

Removing from Steam Wishlist. Very disappointed in this. Guess I'll buy Victor Vran sooner than later.
