Possibly that's the reason... at least your comment in the phoronix forum sounds pretty abrasive to me. Don't know what you've written on softpedia though.

It's how I normally speak, I'm not going to mince words any more and tread softly around websites which constantly put out junk. We are here to give the correct news, and not shuvvel out articles for advert clicks.

Quoting: seb24It's because some games are announced on Linux but not published yet, like XCOM2 for example.

So if you filter by release date is not showing theses games.

Exactly what I said in the article.

Sadly I tried to chat to the author on twitter, he stands by the headline because he really doesn't see a point in SteamOS. We have our work cut out for us folks.

Sorry, no livestream tonight, CoH2 is not behaving at all in windowed mode for me to do it.

It's possible it's Unity's hotkeys getting in the way due to the game being in windowed mode, so I will disabled them and try again tomorrow.

Could someone try out windowed mode, and see if the camera rotation works normally in windowed mode for you? Add "-window" to the steam launch options.

Quoting: maodzedunI agree with him. What IS the point is SteamOS? It's terrible. I made a media box with kodi for my father and I initially tried SteamOS - big mistake. Ended up installing Ubuntu and I'll probably put a Windows for good measure, as well, because streaming to a Linux pc with AMD card is a pain. So yeah - what is the point. How many of you use it? An OS that gives you all of the quirks but non of the perks of Linux. No thank you.

Why would you put SteamOS on to be a media box? It's a STEAM gaming platform, your own fault for not using it for what it was designed for.

Works perfectly for me as a gaming system hooked to my TV for use across the room. You know, what it was designed for.

Updated, it actually requires two HDMI cables, see the bottom. The "reviewer" on Ars didn't do his research.

Looks like Vendetta - Curse of Raven's Cry was removed from Steam, oh my

My main issue was they forced people into manually sending them proof of purchase to gain access to the new version, which was essentially just a big patch. That was my first alarm bell, and I noted it in other articles.
