oh so that's why DXSETUP was getting stuck... i just worked around this by killing the DXSETUP process, everything seems to work fine regardless lmao

That was the first thing I tried. I tried restarting steam, rebooting the whole system, toggling all the steam play options, etc, and it didn't work.

I wanted to try Tales of Berseria since it works apparently, but 5.0 isn't showing up in the Proton version dropdown (even though i installed it manually). Is there something I can do to make it work?
Yes, I restarted everything I could think of. Didn't help.
