Embracer Group splitting into three companies

Quoting: stormtuxWhen a restructuring company splits in two it is usually because they want to keep the "good" parts and put the "bad" parts in a "bad company" that can be left to die. This is a little different, why 3 companies? The "AAA" company is probably the profitable one, the one they plan to keep milking. But the other two? Two different levels of risk of investment?
One for board games.
One for AAA computer games.
One for Indie computer games.
One ring to rule them all... sorry, wrong story.

Slay the Spire 2 announced by Mega Crit for 2025

Quoting: GetBeanedWhat did you think it was going to be? They advertised it pretty heavy as a quickfire showcase of upcoming games, indie games at that, not AAA.
Did they? Dunno, I only saw the hype about the upcoming "initiative", but yes, I had a hunch that it was going to be just a way to promote indie games. Turned out to be even less than that.

So the whole hyped Triple-I Initiative was all about [External Link] announcing a few sequels and DLCs, am I missing something? Zero excitement for me, but then again, I don't watch or care for Triple-A announcements/events, so I guess I'm just not the target audience.

Quoting: rustigsmedwith win10 support ending for home users late next year combined with win11 high system requirements we could see a continued or slight jump. anyone want to predict Jan 2026? will 6% or higher be possible? It will be interesting and fun to watch.
4% in 2024, 6% in 2026, 80% in 2300.
