Later this month, you can register in teams of three, for a chance to win the very first Rocket League championship title. The three-month season kicks off with open qualifiers and we’ll have a total prize pool of $75,000 USD for the first season. All matches will be played on the PlayStation®4 (PS4™) computer entertainment system and Windows PC, with additional platform support to be revealed in the future. Stay tuned!

I'm really hoping this extra platform is Linux!

Yeah, quite disappointed really.

Well at least they respond when asked about it, unlike other with developers of other games that have gone silent (Witcher 3, Project CARS, etc).

Rocket league will still be an instant buy for me when it does come out!

Yeah, I'm also a bit miffed on them seeming to move off Project Cars 1 before they've finished with it. Hoping this apparent shift of focus won't result in any delays on the Linux port.
