Not only in Steam Deck, in Steam in general, I had a conflict that did not locate the /Documents/ folder in Windows and Linux, it didn't download the saved game in FFXII Zodiac Age, Borderlands 2, Borderlands The Presequel, and also completely delete my borderlands 3 game since it do not download the Cloud Save and when starting the game I start with nothing, and then obvious reasons the Cloud Save uploaded it to the server.
The Steam Deck has released, here's my initial review

With Proton GE literally many games that are considered "Unplayable" could be playable with this Proton fork, hopefully in a future Valve of that option to enable a "friendly" way to select an external and custom version of Proton.
But those of us who use Linux, it would not be an inconvenience to do it manually, and many titles would be playable.

I hope that at some point they will remove the "launchers" from Feral games, such as Rise of TR or dirt games, where it can become annoying.

With this last version Borderlands 3 was broken, especially in the videos, they are no longer played. in the latest versions of Proton-Exp-Bleeding-Edge I already had that problem. and apparently it's because they no longer make use of GStreamer.... I hope they will solve it soon, which is my daily game.

One of the worst ports next to Borderlands 2 on Linux, and currently I prefer to use the Windows version with Proton than the native one...

Quoting: ElectricPrismWe already know from ProtonDB.com [External Link] that the overwhelming majority of games are running on Desktop Linux (Save multiplayer infested with DRM Anticheat)ProtonDB includes the use of "proprietary" external tools (mf, wmv, tools that are illegal by their respective licenses) or modified versions of Proton, such as ProtonGE or Proton-TKG, the verification is done with a "click and play", and the result depends on whether the game is compatible with the Steam Deck controls, performance, or that you start the game but have problems with the sound or similar.
I'm sure the Approved list will grow fast since it's mostly just a UI Mod & Full Controller support and I look forward to having more consistency so my games can be fully managed without keeb and mouse.

Quoting: AdrianodlThose games need a tweak, the problem is that in the current versions of Proton, after version 5.13, you can not install WMP11 through Protontricks, it gives you permission error, you need to use version 5.0-10 to install WMP11 and thus be able to run the games that require it, such as RE0 or RE1, it's something that's problematic and annoying to do.Beginnings of a WMA decoder. With this all games that uses Media Player to run a video playback in the game could run without tweaks?
Like Resident Evil 5 or Catherine Classic?

Amazing, many games depend on this, especially games that are DX9, like RE0, 1, RE Revelation 2 and among other games I have.

Quoting: d10sfanRuns pretty bad with nvidia 1070, so refunded it for now.You need Proton-Experimental to improve the NVIDIA experience, but it still has VRAM Leak issues
The Anacrusis appears to run on Linux with Proton but some possible caveats

That was one of the reasons that I stopped using KDE, the KWin composer is always very inefficient in gaming, it is not the first game that suffers from that problem, there are several.
