Kingdom Come: Deliverance doesn't look like it will come to Linux any time soon

This is the answer they gave me about why it's not possible on Linux...

"Linux usually fights with driver support. Current CryEngine support for Linux is specifically tested on Ubuntu 14 64bit and is dependent only on SDL2 and NCurses.
Generaly, we have to use whatever Crytek implements into the CryEngine. DX12 is close to the metal as well and we have significantly better tools and support for it all major IHVs, MS tools we are using, many GPU debugging tools available etc.).
We are quite small developer, so we have to use whatever easies our development."

XCOM 2 patch now live for Linux & SteamOS
27 Feb 2016 at 4:04 pm UTC

Quoting: WorMzyNow when I start the game, it tells me that my GeForce GTX 970 isn't supported.

EDIT: possibly because I'm using the 361.28 driver, but the FAQ explicitly states that higher version drivers should work [External Link].
Same here with Gtx 970.

Well i tried it.
I have the stop bug, the game works only if the caracter is in motion.
The Tutorial is a Pink fullscreen with sound that i can't stop, and i have others bugs, the rope it's taken from Zoya ;) of Trine 3.
I think that it's not more that an alfa code.

Quoting: tuubi
Quoting: melkemindThe Unreal 3 Engine was never properly ported to Linux, and every game using it under-performs.
This doesn't explain why the game "under-performs" on Windows and Mac as well, at least according to various reviewers.
If it underperform also in Windows it's not the case of a bad port, it's the game that need to be fixed.

Rocket Leage is a big HIT for the Linux Market, good news after the sad update about Rome II.
I'll hope the performance will be on pair with the Windows Version.

A Four Way Comparison For Alien: Isolation Shows Off The Performance Difference
18 Nov 2015 at 1:10 pm UTC

30-40% performance difference nvidia vs nvidia with different OS it's a fail, the game is perfectly playable but to sell something you nedd to build some motivation to switch.
Right now it's a question just to have it rather than how it perform... and this is a shame.

(*) Not.
Personally I don't care that much about the mainline Ubi games like Assassin's Creed, but I'd love to see the UbiArts stuff like Valiant Hearts and Child of Light get ported over.

Still, it's nice to see a big company like Ubi recognize our existence.
But please not uplay it's the worst service out there.
