The match-2 solitaire card-game 'Faerie Solitaire Harvest' is coming to Linux this year

This is great news, given how Faerie Solitaire "came" to Linux (it shows no SteamOS icon but runs without Proton) but the remastered version didn't (it's Proton-perfect, though). Can recommend the series.

I am really glad for this. Played lots of the original on the Mega Drive, too bad none of the sequels were nearly as good. Hopefully this one does the franchise justice.

Yeah, but does that work for streaming? I can't remember the last time my HD saw an mp3 file...

Feral Interactive confirm DiRT 4 for Linux due "in the next couple of months"

It's always nice to see how Feral keeps getting port jobs, it shows that there's money to be made on Linux gaming even with Proton (not to mention racing sims are kind of a niche genre). However, I hope they're not expecting to make heaps of cash on this port, given how DiRT 4 is not as well-reviewed as DiRT Rally and DiRT Rally 2.0 has been getting nothing but silver+ ratings on ProtonDB.

Finally! I want my videogame app to play videogames (though I wouldn't mind a music app to play music in the background of some games). Back in the year 5 B.S. (before Steam for Linux), I started resenting my Xbox 360 because Microsoft suddenly decided their console should become an "entertainment center". I am glad Valve decided to turn back on that very same idea before it was too late.

Nice, I miss Advance Wars. This is definitely going into my (platform-specific [External Link] wishlist.

One thing I've wanted for years is to be able to group achievements by DLC. I wonder if that ever occurred to them. TrueSteamAchievements does it, why won't Steam?

Jackbox Games now officially support Linux with all their Party Packs

Quoting: kuhpunktAnd now it's going to be the next free game on the Epic Store. What gives?
Looks like they're done catching the biggest chunk of their userbase and now they're trying to see if they can make some money off unexpected sources. If only the Epic Store gave out Steam keys, I would get it for free there, but since it doesn't (I think), I'd rather buy the game on Steam.

Is any of those particularly suitable for two players? I don't usually host house parties, but I am looking for something casual to play with my wife.

Quoting: NatedawgFor comparison, if anyone knows, does it default to DX11 or 12 for Windows?
I booted on the Windows I'm keeping for downloading plugins and compiling. Here is a screenshot of the menu that answers your question :

Thanks, but unfortunately the image isn't showing :)
You can download the image and open it on your computer. In any case, it lists the targeted RHIs as (and this is a simplification of mine): DX11, DX10, OpenGL 3, OpenGL 4, Vulkan Mobile, Vulkan Desktop. I don't know which one is set as default, but there is a checkbox marked only for DX11 and DX10.

My follow-up question is: what could be the reasons why they haven't set Vulkan Desktop also as the default for Windows?
