Valve appear to be banning games with AI art on Steam (updated)

I have to side with Valve. At least in the U.S., AI generated art cannot be copyrighted and proving it's been made into "original art" may have to, as in other cases I've read about with photographers suing artists who used their photograph(s) without even credit, have "original art" be preemptively proven in court in order to submit said titles with AI-generated "base" artwork. Even the "base" art in the photograph case, was man-made, original art. 🤷🏻‍♂️
