Regarding loading times (SR3) I experienced that on first loading pressing the Windows key and switching to game again makes it load alot faster, while I experienced infinite loading without doing this.

Developer of Starsector fighting stolen artwork from Generic Space Shooter

I think it was a bit to straightforward to fill out a DMCA takedown request right away before contacting the developer, who might not know that he uses the artwork illegally. As far a I know this request can result in complete removal from a store and it is often hard to put the game up again. Of course it is not right to use art illegally, but it seems like the developer was cheated as well from people selling the art.

How are delays handled? For example if a best guess date is in the past? Is there an algorithm detecting that and setting a new date, is it done by hand or something different?

Also watchlisting games and being notified about delays, releases etc. for this games might be helpful.

Compared to the hardware survey with 1% Linux users this is 4 times better. And yes, percentage counts. It is all that counts for Linux users. For developers sales numbers are more important and they are not that much in this case, but I did not expect you to share the pessimistic attitude of the developer here.
