Amnesia: The Bunker is stressful horror done the right way

Been playing Frictional Games games since 2007 starting with that other bunker game they made called Penumbra. It was a nice arrangement, they release a native game for Linux and I buy it directly from their site.

Maybe our TTimo-like Frictional games Linux champion didn't work on bunker or left the company. Maybe they pushed us to the end of their priorities to support "XBOX One".

I'll wait for a native version.

Quoting: GuestI've always wanted to buy just a Thelio case - the wood grain totally works for me. This.. not really. So close but still out of reach.
It's probably a wood veneer. Just peel the space guy off and slap on your wood sticker.

Suspend in gnome now does nothing with the update. I suppose this is better than the previous state where resume would fail 10% of the time and only show the LUKS unlock success screen.

The suspend bug got me at least ten times. Happy it wasn't luks.

Hope Valve updates the their terms to block this specifically. It's their store, they can kick them for the fun of it.

Maybe the official devs can do it like the VR app OVR, https://store.steampowered.com/app/1009850/OVR_Advanced_Settings/ [External Link]. They have a free download and a donation "DLC".

It was fun and a much needed break from battle royal games. LAN party in the grave yard with Ballistic Overkill.

I think Valve using gitlab is more interesting. Does this mean they will move everything they have from github to their gitlab instance? Would be nice.

NVIDIA 470.42.01 for Linux adds DLSS for Proton, Xwayland, asynchronous reprojection

Using pop os package (https://github.com/pop-os/nvidia-graphics-drivers/pull/108#issuecomment-867666700)

* SteamVR system menu performance is garbage
* SteamVR doesn't allow you to enable/disable motion smoothing
* Launching games causes OS to chug

Guess we have to wait for another SteamVR beta

Attempted to use the archaic .run file and gave up. Will have to wait for the package engineers shower us with the bleeding edge.

There is a VR coverage void for Linux. Many articles that need to be written like why games from 2016-2018 can never be ported (unity engine didn't support VR on Linux) and why nvidia/facebook/epic are terrible companies.
