As for the aforementioned issues: For one, you can't actually quit the game without manually forcing it to quit. The Quit button on the main menu just does nothing. While it's slightly amusing, it's still a bug.
It's a game you just can't quit playing...!

I'm get a comment number one too high: "2 comments" in front of the subscribe button, while there's only sub's comment. (My block list, to my own surprise, is empty.)

The incredible looking 16-bit fantasy RPG Chained Echoes is fully funded and coming to Linux

Quoting: slaapliedjeIs anyone else annoyed by the trend of calling games 16bit these days? Sure call the art style out as 16bit pallete, or something. But for me unless I could take the game and compile it for system X and it would run just as well, it isn't truly 16bit. Just call it Old School style, or retro.
Hm. I think there's differences between 8 bit retro and 16 bit retro. Maybe we could qualify it by decade or semi-decade...

There's not a lot that appeals to me, either. :-/
I'm starving for modern, first or third person graphics games.
I do like indies, but not only indies.

When I thought about what I'm looking forward to the most, Truberbrook is it (ignoring Feral's ports for a moment).

Quoting: shawnsterpOMG, you don't know what Vulkan pipeline dumping is??!?!?? You must be so embarrassed.
Bit harsh don't you think?
Should all Linux gamers know what dumping is?
Aren't the casual "pick up and play" gamers allowed to use Linux and Vulkan without having to learn all this stuff? That's what's so attractive about Windows isn't it? Ease of use an all that, nothing to learn, install and go, right?
I sure as hell didn't buy a PS4 to learn the anatomy of it. Why can't it be the same for Linux?
Patronizing is what turns people away.
Joke...?

I wonder how hard it can possibly be to fix this 0 byte update bug.

I imagine something along the lines...

int updateSize = steamServer.calcUpdateSize();
if (updateSize <= 0) return false;

(Obviously, if it would be that easy, Valve would have solved it in the first attempt.)
