Quoting: lucifertdarkVR of all sorts is still way out of most people budgets, the price will HAVE to come WAY down to have any hopes of real success.
I wonder which prices people expect, considering that every VR headset contains two gaming "monitors".

Quoting: EikeWell, at least we have the 99th "retro inspired" whatever, don't we? :'(
Yeah, but this one's probably 'inspired by' such retro titles as this: https://youtu.be/-Bd1tKfPr6s [External Link]
I figured this is a given since Crusader Kings II begins about the time of the end of the Roman Empire. So not sure why it's 'retro inspired'.
That referred to the original news which said Imperator: Rome might not be coming. Which would be one less in the occasional break from "retro inspired".

Quoting: ZlopezGood to hear, but I'm still waiting for linux port of Total War: Warhammer II.
Strange that they didn't do that (yet). It seems Warhammer is selling good on Linux, they already had the first part running, ...

What are you playing on Linux this weekend and what do you think about it?

Quoting: Eikebuy and continue Bear With Me (the free first episode really helped me decide on this one!), an adventure game being cute and dark at the same time.
Oh, man!
They've changed save game format so I cannot use my save from the free episode in the complete edition... :-/
Achievements are counting seperate as well...
Still, looking forward to playing more of this!

If I'd find the time, I would be
  • finishing on Algo Bot, a programming puzzle gaming starting easy and having a nice difficulty rampup, and/or
  • buy and continue Bear With Me (the free first episode really helped me decide on this one!), an adventure game being cute and dark at the same time.

If you want to see the rhythm-music platformer Runner3 on Linux, they need to see demand for it

Quoting: TuxeeAs I said: Make an educated guess about possible sales, assess required manhours. Make a decision. Even if the sales don't cover the expenses entirely the gained experience could be worth it. Kickstarting might be a feasible alternative (though you already have to be clear about the effort required).
Quoting: scaineThey already know what the effort is, particularly since they've supported us before. They just need to make a risk-based decision as to whether it's worth it (financially) or worthwhile (goodwill and ethically sound, supporting the little guy).
From what they're doing now, do you think
[ ] their former ports were a huge success or
[ ] their former ports were hardly worth the effort?

I'm looking forward for this! Like the topic and the style, and the co-developer and publisher Application Systems Heidelberg did the same for Nelly Cootalot: The Fowl Fleet [External Link] as well. (Just seeing it's for 50% at the moment.)
