Liam leaves? I guess the trolls won this time.
I hope GOL people still worry about contacting devs directly about linux gaming stuff, like it has been for the moment.
I wish Liam returns in some point in the future. And of course, we all want to see GOL even better than ever.

Borderlands: The Pre-sequel New Video, Pre-orders Available
6 Oct 2014 at 7:11 pm UTC

$60 for a single game (no dlcs?) It's a lot of money, and money doesn't grow on trees ;)
If this game is like a mod of B2 (using same engine) then I would think it should be cheaper.
But for those than have enough money, its great than they make an investment in the future of linux as a gaming platform, devs has to know that we are willing to pay (but in my case not $60 for just a pre-order)

Steam Hardware Survey For September 2014, Linux Rises

This rise is probably due to the CSGO port, many people stop using dual-boot due to that.
The next month will be interesting too

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Linux Beta Due Soon! (UPDATED)

Quoting: zimplex1After playing this for a few hours I can say that online works good, and that the game itself runs amazingly well even on high settings and 1080p. There are some issues with the mouse not showing up when the server ad window comes up but you can press enter to get past it.

CS:GO is the only reason I kept my Windows 7 partition... It has since been removed.
In reddit I just saw many people doing the same, like this

I'm waiting for the next month stats from valve, maybe it will raise linux usage at least a bit.

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Linux Beta Due Soon! (UPDATED)
22 Sep 2014 at 8:31 pm UTC

Now I guess the quantity of people playing the game at the same time will be 1% higher.
I have been waiting for this (like everybody else). I will try it when kernel 3.17 + mesa 10.3 arrive to the repos (I use r600 driver) to see how it runs.

I am interested to see how r600 has improved with this new update. Mesa 10.3 looks very interesting.

Starbound Could Be Open Source In Future

OP software is great, but we could just download the game from the repositories instead of pay for it (like we can for lugaru)
