Google Stadia is out now for early adopters, well a few anyway

I think the order in which people are getting their orders might come down to local supply. I ordered on June 6 and got both my physical order and code yesterday; however, it shipped out from a warehouse near me so maybe that is why I got it so quickly?

Hard to say, but definitely isn't as straightforward as the ordering getting reversed.

Quoting: Liam DaweWell that gives me a little hope. What connection speed? How far away was your Chromecast from your router?
My internet is gigabit, on Xfinity. I don't get the full gigabit speed, but it is still plenty fast (maybe 700Mb). I did have a similar experience during the beta on 250Mb internet.

My router is maybe 15 feet away or so from where I setup my Chromecast.

I also live in Chicago; I wonder if I'm close to an edge server, which might account for my low latency.

Got mine today and a little time to play with it. Tested it out on the Chromecast Ultra that came with it and in Chrome, both on WiFi (which they do not recommend).

Both worked flawlessly with no noticeable input lag (wired for Chrome, wireless for Chromecast). I do have pretty fast Internet, but my roommate was also watching a stream in the other room at the same time.

I'll definitely need to try out more games and put some more time in to really make a judgement, but my initial impression is pretty good. I'm interested to hear how it goes for you, Liam.

I saw this on a Blender group on Facebook. As well as being available for Linux, they apparently used Blender for all of the 3D assets and character animations. Pretty neat!

Having FPS Problems In ARK: Survival Evolved? Try This Simple Fix

Personally, I like the motion blur, but only when the game is running at a very high FPS. At 60 FPS, the motion blur effect isn't nearly as exaggerated as it appears at 30 FPS and below. When the effect isn't over-the-top, it can add some realism when running or moving fast. Unfortunately, I don't think is normally the case for games right now. Hopefully it gets better with time and better hardware. :-P

Looks very reminiscent Alpha Centauri, one of my most beloved strategy/sim games. Going to have to pick this one up.
