i just hope it doesnt affect that company in a way that valve will deny their request to put the game back to steam because the mike guy is back now. i really think they should contact valve - and by that i dont mean email or twitter but actually calling them to say sorry.
with all the shit flying from A to B in the internet i guess everyone has made a short-tempered decision at some point that eventually harmed the people one wouldnt have wanted to be affected at all. in times like this its just important to learn to take a step back, take a deep breath, focus on both topics and people that are really important. 99% of whats happening doesnt actually matter at all and its a sheer necessity to have an emotional distance to that.
I'm no stranger to leaving something and coming back (insert trolling directed at me here, and here):>

GOL Cast: Tank Warfare And Dogfights In War Thunder

for comparison my specs: q6600, 4gb ram, hd5770 - so a quite old system. running this game in win7 between 45-62fps, dropping down to 40 in intense air battles.
would be nice if someone could compare fps on both systems for the same pc, if i can free up some space on the little ssd i run linux on i might do that myself. just wanna point out that all your "it runs fluid" experiences dont necessarily mean the port is well done, as the game is not demanding at all.

Quoting: mr-egga gtx 760 is only a midrange card @ £160 / $180it would be sad tho if a current midrange card wasnt able to run this game, as its not very demanding.

to be honest i prefer the horizontal coverflow view of current bigpicture mode over this. somehow it looks both more elegant & natural on a widescreen. the design of cale lares on the other hand doesnt tell me in what direction i can scroll in the coverscreen to browse games and it also kinda puzzles me how to jump between menus and options with a controller in mind.

can you PLEASE stop posting that Fatal1ty movie ever again. that guy made himself a name with stuff like gamerfood but is quite bad by nowadays standarts and kinda fails to deliver what unreal tournament looks like if played right.
heres a proper one: not intending to shitstorm at fatal1ty (altho i should, just like every fellow quaker) but this really is way better

Project CARS Initial Release Delayed

So yeah it works out of the box, given your kernel version aint too old. i must admit tho that the only "racing game" i have ever played with it in Linux is Euro Truck Simulator 2 - which was fine but without ForceFeedback (but that seems to be a problem with the ETS2 port itself, not the wheel - read here [External Link]. in general people seem to be very pleased with logitech wheels in linux and thats why i bought it in the first place.
the wheel itself is top notch but comes with very basic wheelshifters and brake/accelerator unit. i would say its a wonderful product if racing is not your main genre of gaming but you want to have a good time when playing such a game every now and then. its very good value for the money.

Quoting: Sn3ipenDoes it work "out of the box" or do you have to compile drivers manually?it used to work by compiling LTWheelConf (GitHub) [External Link] 3 years ago, then in late 2012 it got obsolete by beeing merged into the kernel (Readme on that) [External Link].

i think the best sub 150€ wheel for linux would be the Logitech Driving Force Pro.
