gave it
5 stars for download (who can seriously fail at this)
4 stars for installation (it could be way easier, but that doesnt mean its not easy already)
2 stars for features (im afraid by that they mean an even more overloaded interface, and not actual abilitys of the driver)
1 star for stability (i put both my experience with bugs and poor performance in this)

wrote a nice little text about how poorly their binary drivers are for linux compared to nvidia and intel and how they should either full-heartedly support the developement of the opensource (radeon) driver or tremendously step up their proprietary (catalyst)

Wasteland 2 Is Selling Very Well, What A Shocker
25 Sep 2014 at 8:03 am UTC

is it a full game tho? with a real story, voice acted dialogues for important characters, hours of gameplay that concludes in a good ending to the plot that has been built up before?

i ask this because i played fallout for the immersion it had with its interesting characters, fun and random encounters and its very satisfying endings. im very sceptical with crowd funded "semi indie" games if they can deliver me that and not just ride the "sandbox crafting is cool" hypetrain. i would buy wasteland if someone tells me it has the same level of love for design, lore and details, but not if its just "fallout battlesystem in an open world where you can do what you like trololo".

i like really classic game, is this one? :(

Quoting: N30NHeard about the prject some time ago, very happy to have now backed it. Anyone interested in this should also checkout Reborn [External Link].
yes, thats the other interesting project. thing it that it barely makes any progress and the founder, james "2gd" harding which some of you might know from twitch (the 2gdshow & dota2 commentary) still tries to a sponsor for it (doesnt want to crowdfund). until then the developement is somewhat on hold.
i think the community support really shifted towards Reflex lately, because theres just way more going on there and the developers are more ambitious.
if reborn ever makes some serious steps ill write an article about it too and also point out the differences. so far reflex seems way more like the game to support tho :)

btw:
Editor Note: It is however mentioned right at the bottom of the Kickstarter.
yeah it is now, because the developer added it after beeing asked to do so :>
there are also addin paypal for those who dont have a creditcard to support this.

Tropico 5 Officially Released For Linux

i fear steamsales and humblebundle have spoiled me, i look at that price and tell myself "lets put this on a list and buy it for -75% later". theres are still so many titles from humblebundles and sales to play that i never really feel the need to buy anything new - the surplus of games is just overwhelming and theres always the next wave of discounts nearby.
