Lutris now being built with Claude AI, developer decides to hide it after backlash

I find him using Claude a bit gross, but unfortunately a lot of people do it. Him hiding it is a completely unacceptable response though. 🙄 He should have just closed the issue and moved on instead of reacting childishly. That attitude would be enough to get me to stop using Lutris if it ever worked correctly in the first place. I've never gotten any game to launch properly through one of their configurations. I've had way better luck with Bottles and will be happily using that instead.

Portal: Revolution drops Native Linux support to focus on Proton

I think a lot about the JangaFX post about glibc binary compatibility whenever developers opt to drop their native Linux builds. I know a lot more consideration goes into it than glibc, but man, it's one of many reasons you can never fault developers who'd rather not tackle the gargantuan task of building games natively for Linux.

Bazzite would shut down if Fedora goes ahead with removing 32-bit

I don't really understand the logic of some on the issue tracker saying that Steam shouldn't be a blocker for removing 32 bit applications. We kept Python 2 around long after it was deprecated to make sure GIMP continued working until GIMP 3 was finally released.

Valve really needs to put more work into the Steam client, absolutely. It should be 64-bit and should have Wayland support on desktop by now. That said, it should still serve as a significant blocker for dropping 32-bit libraries.

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past gets a reverse-engineered clone

Considering all of the code is reverse-engineered and all the assets are extracted from a ROM, there's not really much Nintendo can do here. The case law isn't on their side. This is why we have projects like sm64pc and Ship of Harkinian.

Easy Anti-Cheat not working on Linux? Seems a glibc update broke it

To be fair to glibc, this is a problem on the part of Epic using the deprecated DT_HASH instead of DT_GNU_HASH. EAC's Linux implementation is frustratingly half-baked. It really feels like Epic is the biggest barrier to gaming on Linux now.
