This is reason I hate they scripting language. I am very experienced with python :D and python has everything this language do not. Every time I write something in Godot script it feels like I am using striped version of python and that is so annoying to me that I can't use Godot script :unsure:

I was thinking about ditching unity and I tried Godot Engine and after 40h of tinkering I returned to Unity. Mostly I did not like they're scripting language and they're C# integration is not as good as in Unity. Maybe I will check Godot 4 when it comes out but for now Godot 3 it is hard pass for me

While I might debate easier to use (just my opinion), and I do wonder how big of an impact the other points make, they are indeed worth considering.
If Valve refund for a whitelisted game not working, or what they do if a game stops working, remains to be seen - especially if there's a native version that's not playable, or only barely functional by comparison. Too early to tell. But, indeed, something to consider beyond just technically running a game via wine.

Do not forget that many people (including me) just hate wine as brand it self. And I can totally relate with that. Because when I hear word wine I shrug and remember all those times when I tried to fiddle with it and nothing worked at all and I just gave up. Now my experience with proton was much more better and it is not associated in my mind with something bad. That is why hearing abount new wine version I feel nothing but hearing about proton updates I feel joy.

Yes but i can tell you immediately why DRM exists, Companies like money staff are fond of being paid too. If you release a game drm free on gog i can tell you for a fact it is up on torrent sites day and date and yes even the linux version have been going up lately too. I know this as one of the parts of my job is to monitor several torrenting severs to see what has been uploaded and how often and when gog launch a new game it typically gets uped exactly 5 hours after being avilable for purchase.

Does DRM really prevents games from pirating? Or it just helps them not to be pirated after 5 hours or so but little bit longer?
