Big yay for UMU support! Already enabled and I'll be testing how it runs. Immediate problem - seems that it's working from a different prefix and my God of War saves are out of game's reach. Not that it's a problem, I only played first 10 minutes :grin:

Yes! It was so funny to me that because multiple layers of shite (EGS, EA) this wasn't previously possible. I ended up buying myself a copy of Battlefront II on Steam anyway mostly because of this :grin:

It doesn't crash with Proton 8. This was fixed for user reports (GitHub) while running Proton 9.

Othrewise it's quite stable. I have 300 hours on Steam alone with Proton GE 8 :wink:

The overlay is great, expect one issue that stops me from using it: it doesn't work with VRR enabled in full screen games.
So yeah, once this is on, the experience is quite horrific.

Have you made the jump to Plasma 6 yet? Or are you waiting for a bit for bug fixes to roll in?

When Fedora 40 is out... I'll consider it. I've just updated to 39, so I'm in no rush. Though it's tempting, of course.

My XPS laptop runs F40 with 6.0.2, but I barely use it, so in general it works great! :grin:

Awesome! I don't see it in the beta with 2 games I tried (The Witcher 3 and Horizon ZD) with Steam Beta (Flatpak). According to PCGamingWiki they should have the support :grin:

Nonetheless, great to see it. No more guessing. Now let's go Plasma 6! Can't wait for the HDR gaming mode.
