They should sell a 1280 x 800 version for those who want better color accuracy and don't need the higher resolution.

Quoting: elmapulhell, when doublefine was talking about the new psychonauts, they said that they were able to improve the game thanks to the microsoft funding, guess what improvment was quoted? graphics.

sigh, seriously if he said: "we have many new gameplay mechanics that were too troublemsome to implement, test, polish to make sure they are fun to play, but thanks to microsoft we were able to do it!" then i would be excited.
but no, microsoft creativity can be sumed up as: pretty graphics.
Lol, Doublefine didn't realize they made a rather damning statement about Microsoft. Graphics are among the lowest aspects on the priority totem pole behind more important stuff like gameplay, level design, growth system, AI, performance, etc.

Now, I'm hearing about the recent news about Overwatch 2 and the parallels between it and Halo Infinite is uncanny. No wonder why Microsoft wanted to acquire Activision/Blizzard!

Quoting: GroganI don't personally care about Blizzard, or Activision (both can take turns riding the bologna pony), it's Bethesda/Zenimax that I'm sore about. I loved their games, and they were adopting Vulkan.

Still this is awful that Microsoft is buying up all these publishers. Everything will be polluted with their middleware and horrid interfaces.
And considering Microsoft's track record, they are bad at taking advantage of their IPs and acquired studios. Halo 4 -> 5 -> Infinite was a decade long trainwreck; Gears is an afterthought; and the recent Redfall has been ridiculed for its bugs and horrid open-world/level design. Now, consumers are especially wary of Starfield because of how badly Redfall was received.

Sure, Microsoft had a few wins like Sea of Thieves and Forza Horizon, but the former launched barebones before it became good, and the latter has been marred with cheating and corrupt moderation [External Link].

It would be funny if our worries about the Activision/Blizzard acquisition were all for naught because Microsoft is too incompetent to figure out how to leverage the IP to their fullest.

YouTube thought my Steam Deck video was 'harmful and dangerous'

Quoting: StalePopcornMaybe an Odysee mirror? I'm not sure if they've implemented a 'st0opitr0n' bot yet.
If Liam hasn't done it already, he can create a GOL channel on Odysee and sync it to the YouTube channel. Whenever he uploads a video on YouTube, the same video automatically uploads on Odysee. So even if YouTube takes his video down, the same one is still up on Odysee and Liam will not need to do any additional work for preservation.
