Linux Now Has Over 1000 Titles On Steam

Quoting: SkiskiAnd by the way, where is the Bioshock infinite port, that was supposed to be released earlier this year ?
The current rumour doing the rounds on steam is it's been cancelled, I hope that's wrong though as it would give me one less reason for having Windows. I'm back to dual booting again due to Lightroom being unusable in Wine.
The last change to the "linux_inhouse_testing" depot for Bioshock Infinite was 5 days ago.

There are probably a handful of titles coming to Steam OS that aren't in the sale.

I create a special file called "-i" in directories I want to keep safe.

I do this by doing:

touch ./-i

forces rm to be interactive.

I don't think this is right but I'm going with "Mafia II" as my guess.

Quoting: fleskThe latest hint on the radar makes me think it's LEGO Marvel Super Heroes, as both the image of a (presumably) iron fist and the phrase "Scorched Earth" are Marvel references.
Problem with that is, the clue is for Linux and OS X and sadly LEGO Marvel Super Heroes is already out for OS X.

C4 Engine Drops Linux Support, Developer Says Linux Is Inferior
13 Jan 2015 at 10:22 am UTC

Sadly you're you're always going to get rude people in all communities

One of the devs latest tweets was:

"It's getting Linux to run that's hard. Once that works, support in the engine is pretty easy. But Linux breaks. A lot. It's costly."

I think its partly that that bemuses most people.

I do understand that the are occasional hardware compatibility issues that can cause issues and as long as you keep to stable updates you should be pretty much a-ok.

I'm not a developer but surely the thing to do is use a virtual machine to work on or if you want to run it on a real machine. Use a disk cloning tool like clonezilla so you can restore easily.
