Quoting: ajgpI really wish they would get the backsides into gear and release galaxy for linux already; or even a small update on progress would be appreciatd at this point in time
------------
Iv talk to the support about this, and the answer I got was:
Hello, our Galaxy development team is still working on developing the client - on Windows and MacOSX it's still in beta, and the Linux version is still in development, but we don't want to rush things and release something completely unstable. I apologise for your wait, unfortunately I am unable to disclose any details before any proper announcement, but please be patient.

------------

I can personaly respect devs taking there time and not rush things, but I also would like to have some kinde of statement from the devs.
And I really want to get some games on this sale, but I also could wait from games like Hotline Miami to come to gog connect, victor vran looks intressting tho.

Quoting: Xpanderi don't know why but i didnt find Alien Isolation scary at all.
SOMA on the other hand was scarier for me, even though its not too much horror there, but the atmosphere is so great.
I think it has to do with the AI of the Alien, it does some funny things, and its also easy to outsmart him.
But I didnt play it for the scares, for me it was just a nostalgic trip in to the Alien franchis ^^.
And its where the game shines I guess.

Soma I also agree on, its just pure disturbing sometimes, and the story and ending is epic.
I dont want to spoil anything but its very dark and sad, like the whole game xD.

Monstrum and Outlast, well Im to mutch of a chicken to even try those.
Watch a stream, yes, but I dont think I would jump in to it, maybe.
And Outlast 2 looks even more horrific :S

An EVE Online developer has built an unofficial Linux launcher, game uses Wine
6 Jun 2016 at 11:38 am UTC

Quoting: c3224Please stop spreading bad news as good ones and stop circle-jerking.
Game devs just need to say Linux and they will get article on GoL, WTF, and please begin to analyse and criticize stupid s**t they are saying.
I fail to see the logic in the most of the stuff you say.
And how is this bad news ?
Eve devs are porting there game to Linux, even if its not official it should be good news.
Maybe it will be offical in the future, and if you dont like it, dont play it :P.
You already voting with your money, your not playing eve cause they dropt there Linux client,
and I guess you only buy Linux games and play them in Linux. Keep doing that and we will see better support.

And if you dont like wine version of a game, dont buy them.
Linux has grown as a gaming platform very very quick, we are still a very small group compaired to windows.

And the Devs make the most ammount of money from consols and windows at the moment, and they will support that, it has nothing to do with being lazy or stupid, Its the opposite in fact.
And be careful cause u never know who will read these comments, we have devs on GoL at times.

Im really happy with this news, and I see nothing wrong with this.

Like Liam is saying in the article:
Quoting: liamdaweEfforts like this should be applauded, it's one step closer to official support.
