i like the positive developers like Raymond Doerr, and yes even though this title is EA, it's worth every penny if you like RTS / Simulation games.

Quoting: Avehicle7887My kind of music:

- GOG
- Turn based RPG with Roguelike
- Looks like Banner Saga (which I always wished it would come to Linux)
- PvP (I hope they have LAN for this)

Looking Good so far.
btw The Banner Saga works for Linux, it's just SteamOS icon is missing for whatever reason. but it works fine. I haven't had any issues.
Both titles? Or just the first? There's The Banner Saga and The Banner Saga 2. There's also The Banner Saga - Factions which is free to play, I tried to install it and it errored out with "Invalid platform".
I personally have the first one "The Banner Saga", i'm not sure about the rest.

yeah it reminded me of Happy Wheels as well, i grabbed it awhile back the insane amount of player created courses makes this totally worthwhile along with the well developed main courses. to much fun when you just want a good laugh and you are bored of everything else.

Quoting: neowiz73I'm surprised VK9 isn't in the list for apps for favorite FOSS project. to me this has been one of / if not the most important development for Wine, it will help in getting a dx10/11 to Vulkan implementation working later. which will help with less degradation of performance in wine, not to mention the ability to port things over from DX9 to Android as well as Windows ports.
CSTM does a wonderful job, but I think Vulkan will help a lot more.
FYI, there already is an ongoing approach for dx11->vulkan for wine. It evolves very fast..: DXVK
And the wine devs themselfes are working on DX12->vulkan :).

Cu,
Christian
right, I thought I had read that before as well. but couldn't remember all the details. that name of the project helps a ton thanks :) i had it starred but not watched, doh...
