first, why are they teasing us...?

second... he chose a poor date to make us speculate about it... if it is not gtaV im going to feel slightly disappointed, no matter what game it is

and third.. I hope is none of the games which ports are coming that had already been announced by valve. It would be slightly disappointing as well

tl;dr: state the freaking name already!! not knowing makes the wait more unbearable

Linux: fixed some cases where the first time launch would show the game half way out of the screen on dual monitors
This is common occurrence on games... the fix was too late for me tho... I already had to adjust-guess the resolution without really seeing

Maybe different people do different things but you still draw conclusions out of it?

When I used to be a windozer nobody would had ever convinced me to switch... and yet here i am. I had to see the light by myself...

Can we stop the propaganda please? its pretty annoying overall. Im not sure you needed this wall of an article for that

If you want to lure people in, just make shinny things

14 Steam Machines Revealed At GDC, Some Thoughts

The cheaper version is the one that allows you to only stream for 50€ :)

Im a little torn... I would like to update the gpu of my main rig and put my current medium/low gpu to my steam machine. But I probably wont be able to do that without

a) not buying a steammachine (tm) and doing it manually. I wont be able to give money to the cause
b) moving my current huge tower next to my tv instead of buying one of those sexy miniboxes

Lets hope all this cater for the non-believers and lots of them buy them. This is way I think is good they removed the linux icon and only used steamos icon on their sale. They are not aiming expecifically at us... and im okay with that as long as is still debian underneath

I used to rock xfce, I came from the gnome 2 refugee camp. kde was too heavy and not my style... but after hitting a few xfce bugs and without new releases on sight (a new one recently happen) decided to give kde another go.

My machine is beefy enough now and I just want my DE to get out of the way. Kde sports some weird decisions (like the way activities and/or the way the panels work)

But that said, its configurable enough that I set it to my liking without much fuss and pretty much forget what DE im using most of the time for the past 9 months or so.

Who would had thought I would end up using kde... not me...
