The graphics nearly got me to buy this but the music sounds so horrible that I have to pass for now.

Steam update brings accessibility settings and Proton enabled by default to make Linux gaming simpler

At this point I wonder if developers should actually release native Linux builds anymore. The drama about Fedora dropping 32 bit support has made it clear again that Linux does not have a reliable binary format, as has been the case regularly during the last few years. On the other hand, Proton has progressed to a point where it plays most games and a lot of games better than Windows does. The only problem seems to be copy protection, but I doubt that one is solvable.

Bazzite would shut down if Fedora goes ahead with removing 32-bit

From a gamer's point, the fact that 32 bit will be dropped at some point is reason enough not to invest in Linux anymore. This is huge for Microsoft, as those people will buy Windows devices now. Microsoft still has a lot of work to do but in the end they will get Windows into shape as a great gaming OS. At that point, if they keep it open (as in: allow other storefronts) Valve will probably jump ship and be done with Linux.

Sadly I still can only play a single game with the controller (Portal 2) and Valve nerver responded to my issue... :(

I hate this eON stuff. I bought a Bio Shock 3 bundle (game and all DLC) some time ago but I was not even able to start it. That is on a system with NVidia (Maxwell) and Intel (Haswell) hardware and newest drivers. No response from the developers so after a few days I requested a refund. Still no response to this day so the choice to request a refund was the right one.

It is really a shame that Valve even allows this bullsh*t to be published on Steam.
