Sunday chat: What have you been playing, and what do you think?

This week has been all Tomb Raider. Yes, the performance isn't that great and I've actually played it before, on PS3, but I really enjoy the game.

Someone commented about the camere locking at certain points, I can see that it bothers some players but I suppose it's done to get a specific cinematic feel, and I actually like that kind of thing, so... It did work better when playing on console though. It feels a bit constricting when mouse look suddenly doesn't work. Especially as there are other glitches regarding mouse look, I sometimes can't look in the direction I want without physically moving the mouse, like you hit a border.

Looks really cool, I hope they endure to give it official support. When it is, it's definitely something I would play.

They have ported it to Mac also, right? It would be interesting to know what kind of hardware is necessary there to drive this.

Quoting: KeyrockLook, I'm glad Feral is getting all this business, but where the hell is mah Shadow of Mordor? That game has been "very soon" for over 1/4 of the year now.
Now, now, good things comes to those who wait, no? ;)
They did a brief reply on the reddit linux_gaming forum, here's a snip: "Sorry about the delay. You guys have been really patient with us while we get the game into a state we're happy with. Stay tuned."

Read between the lines and they are having some polishing trouble, hopefully nothing major. Just sit tight.

Feral Interactive Wish To Know Why You Game On Linux

Being a long time Linux user (and I mean long) I want my gaming happening there too.
I really look forward to the Steam (roller) machine getting up to speed. That would hopefully increase the size of the eco-system to bring more big titles, not that I'm complaining how things are currently progressing but I think Linux has some ways to go before critical mass happens.
