I am going to buy this i am so sick of hearing the only 1 or 2 % marketshare (not to mention those surveys either have errors or biased) argument used to justify mmos and other decent games not coming to linux. guys if you can please pay full price. this will benefit us and others in the future.

Linux Games To Come In 2014, A Look At What Is Ahead

Quoting: wichaelI've purchased 75GB worth of Linux games in the past couple of months.
REALLY looking forward to CS:GO
I still feel Linux needs a native big name MMO....if there are any out there already I don't know of please let me know.
good luck so far the only mmo's i have found are ever crap or from ages ago, the only mmos i know are eventually coming to linux are star citizen (by the same bloke that did starlancer, freelancer, wingcommander etc), maybe wildstar, maybe archage, there was another one that hasn't released yet i can't remember it's name but it's a space sim where your the captain of a ship. there is warhammer 40k the eternal crusade that's supposed to be an mmo coming to linux, war thunder is supposedly coming.

for me I'm looking forward to icewind dale and buldur's gate enhanced editions, I am also hoping more games like skyrim and dues ex:human revolution or the fable series. (basically all my steam library lol before i switched to linux)

Puppy Games Aren't Impressed With Linux Sales (UPDATED)

You know what I find hilarious is that they don't take variables into account, like are people interested, the fact that if you recently converted to Linux but had windows games that are now on Linux guess what steam automatically gives you the same game on Linux or let's also not forget that so many better games are coming out soon and near a steam Sale too. You don't think gamers are going to save for the better games, too naive.

Steam Hardware Survey For August 2014, Linux Slips

The steam hardware survey is hardly a reliable source when valve hide the damn thing and don't email them to members and as such I keep missing it.

Feral Interactive Wish To Know Why You Game On Linux
3 Sep 2014 at 6:31 pm UTC

Why do I game on linux, well the fact of the matter isn't simple i am a power user and a gamer enthusiast. So when windows 8 and subsequently xbox one came out, I was utterly appalled with microsoft that i swore off the os entirely or any console made by them. This wasn't the only reason, before microsofts handling of games and gamers has been a constant thorn in my side and the only real thing keeping me on windows was I didn't have a choice at the time, as soon as valve and other developers started moving or porting to linux I left window's permanently. I use linux because it's free and free (this does not mean we linux users are cheap less money spent on os means more money for software and hardware )as in freedom windows likes to restrict you so much and the whole smear campaign they ran against opengl ruined linux's chances at being a competitive gaming machine (though this is changing wewt). I also use linux because i have complete control instead of companies scared i might steal from them even before evidence of such conduct has come out.
nsa (or other kinds)backdoors are impossible to maintain. The os is fast, stable and a wide community support. in short i love linux and i love that games are finally coming here!
