Quoting: GuestThese are workarounds that should instead have real fixes implemented by the devs.Yes, but I have nether issue and without anyone reporting that they still exist they're not going to get any attention. I know they've added rules for specific hardware and drivers in the past. And they're both take extra time to address as they are issues in the third party middle-ware layer (Coherent UI [External Link].
Quoting: GuestSince you seem to be a fan of the game, I can't fathom that you haven't come across endless numbers of bugs and lack of polish, because it's all easy to come across when spending even a short time with the game.I've played the game since beta where I've reported and had an number fixed. The game now works great for me with only a couple of very minor issues (that can be found listed in my mods). Fell free to check out my twitch stream [External Link] when I get back to playing next week. ;)
Quoting: GuestI don't game on Windows so I can't comment if there are more bugs in the Linux version or not.Nether do I. But I'm on Teamspeak with players that do a lot and I was under the impression that is was comparable till seeing the few complaints here. I've been surprised just how many Linux players I run into all the time.

Quoting: GuestLast time I tried PA:Titans, I ran across issues with the gui such as the gui not displaying at all, blank screensHave you tried running the game with the --software-ui option?
Quoting: Guesta box instead of a cursor (the latter in-game as well, affecting actual gameplay). There is a mod [External Link] called "Mouse cursor fix" that should address that issue.

Quoting: GuestThe game is a buggy mess and always has been, UI included. I just fired it up the other day and hit UI bugsDo you have a thread on the Uber forums [External Link] with more details? I'm sure the community could help figure out why you are running into issues.
Quoting: Guestand the UI is not polished at all.Care to elaborate? I've made mods [External Link] to remove the things that'd annoyed me.

I have certainly witnessed a large amount of unjustified hatred targeted at this game/company.
Quoting: TheBossI think them going with Coherent for their UI was a big part of their downfall, it is the cause of a lot of the UI issues time and time again.Coherent is great at enabling the modability of the game. I'm surprised to hear some of you guys are still having UI issues. I play the game often, along with a good number of other Linux users and had thought the UI issues had been fixed for quite some time.

I don't know why you guys are complaining about AMD — Nvidia don't have a x86_64 SoC available do they?
Quoting: Purple Library GuyTo me the questions revolve around the controls. OK, the AMD thing is a little worrisome, but let's imagine someone has gotten drivers much more better by the time it comes out. But the Steam Controller took Valve ages to get right, it almost seems like it was the major bottleneck for the whole project. These people are going to be doing their best to emulate the Steam Controller on this little device, but how well will they succeed?Indeed. The broken the controller ergonomics was immediately apparent to me. And then there's also the Z-Pads…

I'll give it a pass. I would rather just play through the Hotline Miami series [External Link] again (they're just so great).

It even powers on via the controller (I'm sure someone around here was complaining that, that feature was missing from Steam Machines):
