Quoting: GoldpawGood to see an initiative like this! Still, I won't personally be using it unless they reimplement ALSA-support in their browser.
Dude, it was never removed, it's just not enabled by default. It's only a compile option away.

Quoting: jnriversBeen torn between getting this for our PS4 or doing the Linux version w/ a Steam Controller.
What's the general feel of the controller in racing games? Does it beat out a dual analog stick?
Steam Controller no question. The only thing worst then driving with a joystick is using a keyboard.

A look at Tinertia, a twin-stick rocket-jumping shooter for Linux

I also never used the joystick on the steam controller (except for maybe some kinds of quick-chat functionality). I adore my Steam Controller and am surprised you guys are having issues.

Regarding Tinertia, the gameplay in the trailer makes it look more appealing than Liam's attempt. :)

Thanks Feral! Now I'll be getting a copy. <3

What game are you truly thankful to have on Linux & SteamOS?
24 Dec 2016 at 4:54 pm UTC

My all time most thankful one would be Quake III. But I've stopped paying several years ago now. My current favourite and only thing I want to play on any platform is Planetary Annihilation: TITANS [External Link] (currently on sale).

You can see me playing my last league match here:

@Picoboom If you want to use the steam driver and are just after gestures, there are a number of apps that should work for that, such as easystroke [External Link].

Planetary Annihilation: TITANS lives again, about to get a lot more multi-threading

Quoting: GuestThe real reason was so the developers could try to bury negative sentiments and all they did was destroy their integrity even more.
Then why are Stardock not getting the same kind of hate with the release of Ashes of the Singularity: Escalation?

Quoting: GuestYeah, they didn't create a new "DLC", instead they created "TITANS" and charged way more than a "normal" DLC
Stand-alone expansions [External Link] has been the standard way old RTS games were updated. It's also more friendly to new users as there's no additional purchase required. Existing users all have a permanent 66% reduction for the upgrade which is a normal price for DLC (not to mention all Kickstarter and competitive players got a copy free).

Quoting: Guestwhile at the same time cleansing their negative reviews.
Why would you want outdated reviews that don't reflect the state of the game?
