Quoting: PeciskOfftopic, but for Blizzard - I think it is hard to admit, but Blizzard is ran by Activision now, and they are very, very greedy. WoW is leaking subs like Titanic, they cancelled Titan and I suspect that Heroes of the Storm and new TF2 like game is last two PC games for very long time - everyone playing Heartstone has showed them where money is and it's quite clear where they move forward to. Big companies see huge money coming from small, short time distractions like Heartstone or MOBAs, and it is quite clear will try to mussle their way into that market, casting aside any long term prospects for PC.The greed aside, both Activision and Blizzard Entertainment are subsidiary companies who are held by Activision Blizzard (which also owns Sierra Entertainment). It's confusing I know.
They are gone. Not worth the fight imho.

Quoting: KimyrielleQuestion 3 - Did you use a Windows partition for gaming last month?Yea I agree with this...currently only using my Windows Drive for MMOs (and some Diablo action, sorry long time Blizzard fan)...everything else I play on Linux.
I’m still pretty shocked this hasn’t really changed since the survey began. After all the crazy and unexpected ports we’ve had since then, I really expected at least a 5% decrease over this period and probably more. Maybe I’m just overly optimistic with this, but with all the releases which should be coming out from now until October, I still remain optimistic. Though if that kind of change doesn’t happen by then, I will be incredibly disappointed. It’s no secret that this is the figure where I really do care about seeing changes on a monthly basis. It takes only -one- game for people they really want to play to keep around Windows. In my case that's MMOs (and Skyrim). There is none as in not one decent MMO available for Linux right now. Not. One. Don't over interpret that, though. It doesn't mean that I am not committed to Linux and most of the games I am playing I play in the OS I actually want to use (which...isn't Windows, trust me!). It just means I have enough hard drive space that I don't care about a couple hundred MB to be used for a Windows installation if I can play my MMOs for the time being. And don't ask me why MMOs are the -only- genre that doesn't seem to get any Linux love whatsoever, despite the many awesome other games we have been getting as of late.
Brian Fargo Crowdfunds For Classic RPG Series Sequel "The Bard's Tale"

Steam sells it for 9.99 and there are sales coming up...I'm sure one can get it for less and worth the time and money in my opinion.

Quoting: ShmerlReally just backing what Shmerl said, it was one of the first games I played on Linux and thought the slow down was a Linux issue later learned the issue existed in Windows version as well. Personally I don't mind it was called Bard's Tale since it was being satirical of the RPG genre in general and The Bard's Tale was one of the originals that started the the whole thing.Quoting: SpeedsterFrankly I never even bought the 2004 game when it came to linux because I was too disappointed it wasn't a proper sequel like this [External Link].I recommend you playing it still. It's pretty good on its own. Don't think of it as a sequel. It's one of the rare satirical games. And songs there are hilarious. The only thing that annoyed me was a bug that caused the whole system to slow to a crawl at some random points. But I played the whole game regardless since I liked it a lot.

Quoting: edqeThanks to all Kickstarter backers to make this game possible. A great game. You are welcome...have the "Limited Edition" Ammo Box sitting on my desk as I type. I couldn't be more happy than to see InExile stand behind their stuff. Although I will say I wish the Box was a little bigger. Oh and did I mention I have my Cloth Map hanging on my Cube wall as well? ;-) And yes there is room for the Torment one coming.

I got to Canyon of Titan and saw they were planning all kinds of updates so I decided to wait until all the changes got implemented...looks like I'll be waiting a little longer now. Will probably just start over since I was already on the fence about that too ;-)

Seems like Lord British is getting back to his roots in this game...basically Ultima Online had several of these "annoying" play styles since UO had very little hand holding or very few quests for that matter. Still interested to see how it turns out.
