I'm interested in this. I've kinda been looking to get into some streaming anyway. Is there going to be an application process?

7 Days to Die Completely Broken For Mac & Linux

Quoting: MaelraneMäh, it doesn't run for me on Linux since a few months. Crashes upon startup. Couldn't be bothered to fix this so far. (Yes I did give them a bug report)
Not that you should have to but have you tried editing the 7DaysToDie.sh ? For me making sure it launches the 64 bit version worked.

I realize that there had been deserved contention with these developers over this very game. I am also disappointed with the fact that this was not caught before release of the patch. However is been out what a second whole day and hadn't gotten fixed yet? Seriously seems petty to me. Give them some time to have a chance to fix it. I mean many other games have officially released with glaring issues and we didn't jump on criticizing without at least a grain of salt of understanding. I mean this is an patch that came out two days ago on an alpha game, it broke things. That's to be expected. I dunno I think it would be one thing to say fyi to Linux users looking to update to alpha 12 is not working well right now and tall about that, but bad mouthing them at this point just seems like perpetuating any bad blood. As a consumer when I read articles about devs bashing Linux or Linux sales I feel less inclined to support them I can only imagine how as a developer I would feel reading this article.

I know they took there time getting the port out in the first place and that there is some history. The port is out now and it sometimes breaks on updates (for me it had only been the launch script except most recently). I just think that we should acknowledge that they are trying to support us and incourage progress rather then chasing devs away.

Desura's Linux Client Will Finally See An Update Soon

Quoting: ElectricPrismDesura Client sucks. You hear that Desura? Fix your crap if you want our $$$$. That is all.
Just so you know Ownership of Desura was recently changed to a different company that said they were working to make sure that the client got fixed.

As stated in this article "Linden Lab really didn't do much for Desura at all. If anything Linden Lab ruined the open source Desurium project for contributors by forcing a contributor agreement, and so Linden Lab couldn't use all the changes if people didn't agree to it, and they didn't. Bad Juju have a lot of catching up to do." Bad Juju is trying to fix things and they are communicating that.

I guess I just feel like trying to rub the current state of things in their face is a little rude when they are making it clear that they know and are working on it.
