The Steam Link Android app is now out, works quite well so far

Indeed Steam Link App seems to work very well.

Multimonitor woes with stream streaming are nothing new unfortunately - I've resorted for script which disable my 2 of 3 monitors when I want to stream [to my other PCs or Steam Link hardware as well]. Don't like it, but what will you do.

As for Android streaming itself, I've checked it on my Nvidia Shield K1 Tablet with FHD resolution - I thought it'd be perfect for games like Stellaris or Shadowrun, but darn UI is too small! Will probably try with streaming 720p instead of FHD.

I'm still not sure how to count my gaming VM. I count my PC as Linux-based in 1st question, but later as Windows partition since it's not helping for getting more Linux ports.

Quoting: dRaiserI bought (finally) some parts for my PC and build KVM/QEMU gaming machine using VGA Passthrough with Win 8 for Windows-only games which don't work good in WINE
That’s interesting; is there a guide on how to do that somewhere?
Sure they are.

I bought (finally) some parts for my PC and build KVM/QEMU gaming machine using VGA Passthrough with Win 8 for Windows-only games which don't work good in WINE, so my answers are "worse" now. Although I did this to ultimately delete my Windows partition and don't dual boot anymore. ;)

Still Linux is my FIRST platform always when developer support it properly.

Quoting: Segata SanshiroNot sure about multi-monitor because (so I've heard) it's very hard to run well under Linux and not many games support it.
It's usually no hassle to set up, however it can be pain with some games which doesn't support multi-monitor properly (like running on wrong monitor, force-disabling other monitors, and such). Still an interesting question though, especially in case of people stretching games onto 3 monitors.

The Witcher 2 For Linux Released On GOG
5 Sep 2014 at 2:55 pm UTC

Thanks for that! I was waiting for GoG version as I own physical Witcher 2 CE (+GoG) and don't have Steam version. VP port is not allowing me to play with acceptable performance on GF 9800 GTX+ (yes, I know it's kinda old card, but I get stable 60 FPS on High on Windows) unfortunatelly. I'm looking forward to threading improvements. It would be great from VP if they still share new delta packages (with beta fixes) to GoG people.
