I don't believe it's the Director's Cut that free to play, but the original version of Wasteland 2. I have no idea what the differences are, but people on the Steam forums say there are several differences. Also, you can't carry your save over if you buy the Director's Cut, so don't get too invested in your game this weekend.
I'm considering buying it, I love good isometric RPGs and this one does seem like a great game. I just can't sit down and play anything for any length of time these days, it's 38+ degrees C outside and I prefer to just sit in the shade on the terrace reading books...
Who knows, maybe it'll be 75% off when autumn arrives.

I was all happy when I got an email an hour ago, saying I could join the Beta since I kickstarted. And then I saw there's no Linux version... :-(

HITMAN looks like it's coming to SteamOS & Linux

Trying not to be negative, but what's with the recent trend in game titles? Hitman, Tomb Raider, Doom etc, these games are years old! Why can't they just call them Hitman/Tomb Raider/Doom N+1? I'm old enough to remember when the originals were released, maybe that's why I get so easily confused!
But seriously, what is the reason for this? Don't they expect us to be able to count above 2 or 3?

Hearts of Iron IV released with day-1 Linux & SteamOS support thanks to Paradox

I have to be honest, I've had too much bad experience with Paradox lately and haven't had much interest in getting more games from them, BUT I actually find this one pretty interesting.
What I'd like to know is, is the game complete and fun to play on release? Or will it need DLC to become a good game? If the latter, I won't get it as Paradox games become notoriously expense in DLC and I have no wish to support that. If however HoI4 is a great game now, I might consider getting it.
On the other hand, I see they already have unit skin DLC for preorders, which kind of leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

What have you been playing on Linux recently and what do you think about it?

Duskers, a great Indie strategy game (I just recently wrote a review about it here).
Apart from that, Pillars of Eternity on Path of the Damned and Expert difficulty, which is a great challenge.
Though all in all I don't have much time for gaming these days, too much RL stuff to distract me.

It would be nice if the amount of RAM on the graph was ordered numerically by amount, instead of number of users with X amount. Makes for easier comparison :-)

I've watched a couple of Let's Plays of this game, and it looks quite interesting. I might buy it some day.

@Hori, I'm not sure I agree with you. The graphics are my first impression of the game, if I don't like it (and that's a subjective opinion), it's unlikely I'll look further into the game no matter how good it is mechanics wise.
Of course, if it gets lauded as the best game ever I might take another look.
