Oh yeah, I remember using Vivaldi's side bar to accomplish something like Split View! It was super handy on occasion. I can see myself putting that to heavy use once it rolls out in stable Firefox, especially if I try to get back into writing and doing research for story elements

Forza Horizon 6 confirmed to be playable on Steam Deck / SteamOS

We'll probably pick up the game eventually, after its price starts to get deep discounts in seasonal Steam sales. I'm looking forward to exploring the dev team's take on Japan, though; it's a country I've long wanted to visit in person.

My partners and I have Forza Horizon 4 and 5 in our Steam Family Library, and both of them are quite fun. They run well on our assorted Linux PCs (I've mostly played 4 on my Steam Deck; haven't tried 5 on it yet, what with its huge disk space requirements). I've also got a physical copy of FH2 for Xbox 360 that I found at a thrift store once; I haven't finished it, but it's also a good time. Safe to say that I'm a fan of Forza at this point, and I hope it continues to get quality PC versions.

I've been on a Pokemon kick lately, and I'm looking forward to trying this! The price seems quite reasonable, and since it was a mobile game, I imagine it won't tax my Steam Deck's battery.

Valve reveal the most popular Steam games of 2025

Seems like there’s a lot of multiplayer titles on the main list, while the Steam Deck top played are mostly single-player experiences - and even then, a heavy lean on indies and/or less graphically intensive.

I don’t play any of the games in the main list, but I play/have played many on the Steam Deck’s list. I guess my tastes are somewhat mainstream, but focused on deep single-player games, especially anything with a story to tell.

2025 Steam Awards winners have been revealed

Quoting: JuliusCompared to previous awards it is interesting that there is no classic AAA title among it this year, except for maybe Silent Hill f.
Folks are definitely fed up with the status quo. Indies (and pseudo-indies) are where both innovation and quality seem to be thriving right now.

(Also, a lot of us are broke, so indies are all we can afford most of the time, especially outside of sales.)

FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH gets a smaller download on Steam Deck

Ooooh, this is good news! My SD is packed to the gills already, so I'm looking forward to having this actually fit on my Deck when I'm finally ready to play.

Unfortunately, for me, the game still shows as requiring 173.99 GB when I try to install it (and I don't have that much space free, at the time of writing). I guess the rollout is staggered?
