Fucking awesome! This is a really great bundle for me - I own none of these games, but I've had an interest in most them for a while now (Sunless Sea being one of them; the most significant one, really).

That's actually not all that surprising, seeing how it was originally just an add-on for SR4 (which itself was originally an expansion for SR3, before they decided to release it as a standalone).

Great! I bought it when the Linux version was first released, but only played a little over 3 hours of it because of the unpredictable freezes. The bit that I played was very promising, though. Really hope it'll work flawlessly now.

Pretty sure that Crysis was built on CryEngine 2, so it would have to be ported to CE 4 first (although they stopped using version numbers after CE3, so technically it's not called CE4, but just CE). Not sure how big of an effort that would require.
I think that the latest Crytek games are more likely to be ported - personally, I'm hoping for Ryse: Son of Rome, though one of the Crytek devs stated on the Steam forums that they weren't planning on porting Ryse to Linux.
KC: D looks great, too. And Star Citizen of course, although I'm not that interested in it.

@Linux93:
They plan on having online multiplayer eventually (it's actually highest priority now that the engine is updated), but it's not in the game yet (aside from local split-screen multiplayer, but that's not new).
They did, however, introduce online accounts which will be used for multiplayer later on. Right now, you can use them to collect achievements.

While I really like the game so far, I haven't played nearly as much as I would have if it worked properly. Performance is perfectly fine, but the game crashes at random (using a FX 6300 and a GTX 760 with Nvidia's proprietary drivers). I have no idea what's causing it... there even was a thread on the Steam forums about this a while ago as well. Maybe they actually fixed that by now. I should probably give it another try.

I'm so fucking excited for this one!
I was actually really interested in this back when it originally released, but I accepted the fact that I'd never play it ("Maybe in the distant future, when Wine is fully DX11 compatible..." ). This is definitely my favourite one of the games announced during the SteamOS sale (although it's not the only one I'm looking forward too). I'll definitely make sure to pick it up once the Linux version is out.

Yes! This means that there is a chance of Just Cause 3 getting a Linux port!
Also, this game itself looks pretty interesting as well. Might actually pick it up if it's any good, even though I usually don't like end-time settings.

It's really more of a competition against DirectX 12.

Quoting: subWaiting for the tech-savvy crowd telling you this will only be true if it buries AMD deep under the ashes.Considering how AMDs Mantle API is exclusive to their own GPUs... I don't think that glNext/Vulkan needs to compete with them directly.
