Quoting: YasriHey Liam question, how loud are all the buttons. I use the DualSense now and the PS4 controller in the past. All other modern dualstick controllers that I have tried have been louder. Help a can only play games when people are sleeping gamer out.
Hmm. It's mostly quiet. The thumbsticks have an audible click, as do the triggers when you pull them right down to the casing but neither are particularly loud. The back buttons have a slight click to them, but it's reasonably muted.
Cool thanks, will have to give the steam controller 2 a shot then.

Quoting: Doktor-MandrakeLooking at that 'Odyssey Mario's Moveset' it does seem to require manual building for native linux, the precompiled version is windows/wine only
Yeah, I just ran it with Proton(Thru Faugus Launcher) because I had it downloaded anyway. Hopefully alot of the additions in the two I posted get ported over to this new release.

Quoting: lqe5433How to apply the https://evilgames.eu/texture-packs/sm64-reloaded.htm [External Link] pack?
Looks like you get it from this repo, going by the info on the page you linked.

Quoting: LoftyWould be cool to have a flatpak (or appimage) with all that stuff built in and accessible via in game menu.
Yeah, will be nice if they can port those big mods over to this new version. Wonder if the recomp launcher could add all the HarbourMasters releases and become a more general perpose tool.

The best two versions of super mario 64 ported to PC, that I know about are. Neither require compiling unless you want too.

Odyssey Mario's Moveset by PeachyPeach

This is the best if you want single player only. Has tons of ingame options to tweak how you want it to play, including just vanilla 64.

Has ports of a few big mods, including...
Super Mario 64 Moonshine
Super Mario 74 + Extreme Edition
Super Mario Star Road
Super Mario 64: The Green Stars
Render96

SM64 CO-OP DX
https://github.com/coop-deluxe/sm64coopdx

Still actively being updated and has a huge amount of mods on their website.

PeachyPeach even ported alot of there custom stuff over.
