I'm pretty sure that their only officially-supported JRE is the Oracle one, though it's a shame if OpenJDK stopped working with this update. Anyway, it does sound fun, perhaps I'll dust off an ancient save of mine and make another effort at diving in here. It's been awhile!

AMD A8-6500 (quad-core)
GTX 650 Ti (1GB), 355.11
8GB RAM
I just left the settings at the default values, which was "medium" on my end, didn't do any tweaking. I also didn't bother looking at actual FPS rates, 'cause I don't tend to care (so long as a game's getting >= 30fps or so, I honestly don't think I really notice), and the performance has been in general great for me. I do get the stutters which many other folks have mentioned, but it's not bad enough to impact my enjoyment of it. (Though obviously hopefully they'll figure that out and get it patched.) Having a blast!

Finally finished up the Claptastic Voyage DLC (from Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel) with a friend a few days ago. Fun!
Apart from that I've been doing the occasional puzzle from Paint it Back, a cute little nonogram/picross puzzle game that came out awhile ago.

As with everyone else, I am delighted to hear about the differential patches! That's one of the main reasons I haven't bought as much from GOG as I otherwise would have. Great to hear they're finally supporting that!

Yeah, I too would have fit much better in an "I use steam but don't care / have an opinion" option.
Interview With Artifex Mundi, Publisher Of Casual Adventure Games, We Have Keys For You

I've enjoyed the Artifex Mundi games that I've played (there was a Humble Bundle for them awhile back, I believe), but I'd love to have some more games from them that aren't absurdly supernatural in nature. After going through a few of them in a row, I grew pretty exhausted by the spirits/ghosts/monsters/whatever being an inextricable and arbitrary part of the stories. I'd love a series that went far more in a Scooby-Do kind of direction where the seemingly-supernatural stuff just turns out to be some jerk putting on a show. I think it bugs me more here just because the nature of the games are so arbitrary and abstract anyway that having the plot further push it in that direction just seems a bit much.
Anyway, certainly enjoyable, and despite my usual dislike of hidden-object type things, I found plenty else in the games to hold my attention. Worth a look...
