If Raven's Cry is anything like Two Worlds 1+2, then yes it will be shitty. I put in about 5-6 hours in Two Worlds 1+2 and just couldn't do it. I normally love games like this. I would have tried again if it came to Linux, but meh, I don't care either way. Although more games for Linux is always good.

It took forever for it to come to PC, I'm really surprised anyone thought it would ever possibly come to linux. I mean, how many have been released to PC? At least within any sort of reasonable time since the original release. FF7 and the MMOs only?

Quoting: HamishMost Windows and Mac users don't generally have compilers installed on their system, and binaries are easily portable on those systems due to there not being a bunch of distros that put libraries in different places. You'll have to build the game from source because this is a beta release. Alternatively, you can download pre-built binaries for Windows and Mac.Because Windows and Mac users are too scared to use git...
Anyway, if any Arch users wants to try it out they can simplify it with this:

I love your articles and am glad you're back, but I honestly don't think that language is necessary.
I am downloading the game now, I really like World of Tanks, but this looks just as good and works on Linux!
