Yeah the FPS aspect was more of a "oh look cool" sort of thing, space battles are awesome though which is what I am mainly looking forward to.

I mean in the grand scheme of things it's really not all that many, not many up to date ones anyway. I am looking forward to Ensign though since it should offer quite a lot from the look of it.
Also Enemy Territory - i wish they would release an up to date version now the source is out.

Quoting: "Anonymous, post: 2375" Is it commercial game?Yes it is.
Quoting: "Hamish, post: 2376"The game does look interesting, but since this is going to be commercial and we already have plenty of single-player non-death-match commercial shooters for Linux, I do not quite understand your aside. This game is a uniqe take on everything though, like Helena was. So it is nice and different.I haven't actually seen that many commercial single player shooters for Linux?
I wonder how well Helena did for them in the end. Maybe they should try and sneak it into the current bundle... ;)

I agree though in that they should have waited...

Yeah they all have their place, but for now I'm not holding any hope on Steam, all my hopes go to Desura and Gameolith.

He didn't mention Steam for once, that is a shock....although a lot of other people are now jumping on a "steam should take note" bandwagon...i disagree with them, we should support Desura not hope for another service.
