Quoting: scaineIf I were to dip my toe into the Bridge Constructor world... do I go for this, or Portal. I haven't watched The Walking Dead, so no particular skin in the game from a fanboy perspective. Just wondering which of the two titles is more fun for a noob in this genre.
I would actually say this, then the Portal version.

Quoting: pbSince Stadia seems to be coming to my country, a question: if I buy Stadia Pro on Dec 1st, how many games will I get? All that have been added to the Pro subscription so far (there are quite a few listed on the page) or just one or two that are meant "for December"?
If you sub you get instant access to "claim" all games currently available in Stadia Pro, plus the games that go live for that month. Just like PS Plus though, if you stop subbing to Pro then you lose access to them unless you buy them.

For me though, Pro has worked out quite nicely although I largely used it for Destiny 2 which is now going free heh.

Update: 19/11/20 - all black screen issues appear to be solved! The game performance seems massively better than when it was OpenGL. However, they still need to fix it launching directly from Steam as of this date you still need to manually run the game or launcher.

Edit: added in the Steam workaround.

Quoting: CatKillerThe list so far of games that have come to desktop Linux from Stadia is:
That's too short for Stadia being around for a year.
And expect it to remain that way until the Linux desktop share is much higher.

Quoting: DerpFoxThe way the Stadia website is written and presented let you think you HAVE to get to pay to use it. Honestly that is on Google marketing team for messing that up so badly. And that is the case in every language Stadia is translated to.
It definitely still needs improvements.

I find if you scroll down, it's made clearer where it explicitly says "The Stadia platform is free to join" and that you can buy games.

Quoting: DerpFoxYou have to pay a monthly fee AND buy the games.
No you do not. I don't really get how this needs to be cleared up so often. Stadia is a store, you can buy games. Stadia Pro is an optional subscription to get regular free games (playable while your sub is active - no different to PS Plus) and 4K support. Stadia Pro is not required.

Pretty much I believe yup,.
