Quoting: antisol"We will look into Linux after the console launches" is enough to get you on a list of games coming in 2019?? When I see a quote like that I read it as: "There is almost definitely not going to be a Linux port".
Yes because they've confirmed Linux multiple times, it has always been coming to Linux (original post and that quote is just the latest Timeline on when.

Sounds more like you misread the list, Bloodlines 2 is not on it as it is not confirmed. All titles here are.

Quoting: rkfgI have a feeling that as SteamPlay becomes more and more reliable this situation will become common. I wonder what Valve would do if anything at all.
If it does and Valve do nothing it's going to seriously erode some trust.
The flip side to that is it makes better business sense not to do anything as the majority of people talk a good game about supporting linux gaming yet at the same time they are playing Doom 2016 fallout 4 etc which have no linux friendly policies.I hope for more native games but am thinking this is going to be become more and more common.
So to you, buying a game with Steam Play in mind is not supporting Linux gaming? Even though it shows as a Linux sale? Curious.

Also, you're mixing two completely different situations together.

NS2 players picked it up as it was supported.

F4 and Doom buyers do so *knowing* they are not supported.

elements from different time periods, so you're dealing with both magic and machine here
I'm no historian so please educate me Liam: Magic was an element of which time period exactly? :P
Tired/ill and apparently not able to write properly. Have removed that entire bit.
That was supposed to be just a friendly little jab, but I guess I chose the wrong smiley or something. :(

Feel better. If it's the flu, I suggest self-medication. A steaming cup of cocoa with a generous splash of spiced rum should do the trick.
Sorry! Didn't mean to sound so blunt earlier, was in a rush and didn't want such a silly bit left in the article. I know what I was going for, but in my haze last night I just didn't word it well at all :)

Added a few more, won't add all suggestions though only what I think people will really be interested in. Keep any suggestions coming, especially if they have a confirmed date. We have a huge amount coming that don't give a date yet and I would rather not list them all :P

Quoting: sigzthere was a time we got one or two AAA titles on a year.. Looks like proton is a thing there is no more heavy ports (Did feral gave up too ?)
Both Feral and Aspyr slowed right down before Steam Play was a thing. As I said elsewhere on this, both only got involved due to Steam Machines/SteamOS and we're finally seeing the tail-end of it all after it went nowhere. Thankfully though, game engine support, drivers and all sorts are in such a better state.
