Quoting: einherjarHi Liam,

is the game Crossplattform Multiplayer?
It seems it is some "pay to win title", or do I get this wrong?

Best regards

einherjar
Yes, fully cross-platform play across all PC platforms.

It is not pay to win, at all. It may have been in the past, but I firmly say it simply is not now.

Ah I get what you're saying, I guess some could misinterpret it. Will change.

Any one else have other feedback on that?

Quoting: liamdaweOkay, so the Wine question will remain as it is, but it will have a note below it which will read:
This includes any derivative of Wine (like Proton outside of Steam).
Anyone have any problems with that?
...Proton inside and outside of Steam?
Well, then obviously (at least if I understand the question right) you would be a yes on both Wine and Steam Play.

You used it outside Steam - So yes to Wine.
You used it inside Steam, so yes to Steam Play.

The Steam Play question will emulate the Wine question a bit, the question will be "Steam Play use" with options of:
"I will not use it"
"Waiting on a specific game working"
"In the last month"
"In the last six months"
"More than six months ago"

Okay, so the Wine question will remain as it is, but it will have a note below it which will read:
This includes any derivative of Wine (excluding Proton inside of Steam, see above question for Steam Play).
The Wine question will be after the Steam Play question.

Anyone have any problems with that?

Edit: Updated the Wine question text from suggestion.

I'm going to do two things:

- Add a Steam Play question, which will appear before the Wine question to help prevent confusion. This way it's fresh in people's minds that they've answered it before being asked about Wine.
- Slightly adjust the Wine question to make it clear that it includes Proton outside of Steam. I will word it in such a way to include any and all Wine variants.

BATTLETECH for Linux updated, releases Flashpoint expansion – some thoughts

Quoting: BTREAs for GOG, it wouldn't be the first time that they took their time to provide Linux builds or patches of games as they typically test things themselves before pushing on their storefront.
Nice joke! No, really nice one. I still remember their level of "testing" during "Pathfinder: Kingmaker" and "Pillars of Eternity II" launches.
Actually, I've already been shown that
a) GOG has it
b) GOG has 1.3 as well

It's just not advertised and the version number on the installer is wrong.

BATTLETECH for Linux updated, releases Flashpoint expansion – some thoughts
27 Nov 2018 at 8:18 pm UTC Likes: 2

There's been some confusion on if it's actually a Beta or not. Their announcements to us, said it quite clearly that it was going to be released. It's possible they had last minute changes, but according to the Kickstarter update and this [External Link] they both say it's an updated Beta.

GOG does have a Linux build from what I've been shown, but it's outdated and not advertised on the store.

We will do some adjustments to note this.
