I second that.
I will make that a priority after the admin centre upgrade I'm doing at the moment.
Just want to quote from the article about from you:

"I'm very open minded when it comes to everything..."

Except maybe comments you (and maybe others) didn't like. Openess means you accept other people's other opinion, which you might not agree with. As far as I see that comment didn't hurt anybody. It wasn't offensive, it didn't said anything bad about developers or the game (either Gone Home or Tacoma).
Whut

An ignore list has been requested by many people and it's a great way to help keep the peace. If people don't want to see content from specific users, they shouldn't have to. It's about having an open mind on what my users want. It's called being a good admin.

Also, just to point out, I haven't said anything in disagreement with anyone's comments. My usual stance stays: sharing opinions is fine, disagreements are fine, unwarranted insults are not. As far as I can tell everyone has been reasonably respectful so far.

They are not Linux friendly
Yes, they are. Just because they haven't put out Galaxy yet, doesn't make them hostile to Linux. Don't be a moron.
In all your notes, I do not see the same level of dedication for itch.io as for GOG.
And itch.io is REALLY Linux friendly
You've got to be kidding. Nearly every article written on this site about itch.io screams its praise. Despite being a tiny store selling mostly indie games, everyone here raves about it, but you somehow you see "dedication" to GOG instead??

What are you on?
In the last 10 pages of GamingOnLinux, compare:
How many notes titled with GOG or itch.io you find?

Count them, and take your own objective conclusions.

Anyone who does not know Linux, could believe that GOG is more "Linux friendly" than itch.io... but is not.
GOG specifically email me updates about their titles including game keys, itch do not. It's simple time management for me, given the increasing workload I have. itch also have far, far less noteworthy releases, believe me, I look at itch almost every day.

Have you sent in a bug report to them?

Linux game sales statistics from multiple developers, part 5

Quoting: Mountain ManMilkstone studios says, "We support Linux on a pretty basic level (we're not Linux users ourselves, so we have limited experience with it)," and then complains about low sales.

Here's an idea: maybe if you didn't treat Linux like an afterthought then Linux gamers wouldn't treat your games like an afterthought.
This kind of attitude from some people is silly. For most developers Linux is a low priority, since we are usually much lower revenue. It's only natural really. I don't see where they are complaining either, as you say it. I also don't get how you can say we are treating their games like an afterthought (since their games have sold reasonbly well on Linux). Honestly, some people need to drop the bloody attitude.

I appreciate all developers putting out Linux versions if they work well. Milkstone's games do usually work very well.

Quoting: liamdaweTo be clear, Aspyr has not left Linux at all. I don't get why people say that, they did only recently put out Civ VI (a pretty major title). They are also publishing games coming to Linux.
Aspyr released a Mac port of Mafia III last May 2017. Up to now, there is no news about the Linux port.

Can you ask them if they plan to do a Linux port?
They do not plan a Linux version.

This doesn't mean they are leaving Linux, other porters also do non-Linux games, that doesn't mean a porter is suddenly leaving Linux behind.

As it stands, Linux is a fantastic platform for playing indie games. It's an accessible platform due to the no-cost entry to Linux distributions itself, so people can whack a Linux distribution on any laptop, pc, media centre hooked up to a TV and so on. Linux is also extremely easy to install compared to how it was some time ago and driver support has improved at a staggering pace.

People have to remember how far we've come in reality, considering how poor Linux gaming was even three years ago compared with today.
