Wine 2.0-rc5 release, moving towards a final stable version

Quoting: imdan12Waiting to run Overwatch on Wine. Please!!!!
Why is there Civilization V if it has a native port?
Fixing any game is Wine can help other games, just because it has a native port doesn't mean it won't be worked on in Wine.

One advantage to Wine, is that if a game doesn't have cross-platform multiplayer, running it in Wine would mean you could play with Windows friends. One simple example, but Wine will always have its uses.

Page updated again, I've moved the "(Online)" bit out of the directory. Anyone who is online will be shown at the top in a box by itself.

Okay I've updated the page with some URL sanity checks. It will check for missing www. and https:// and add them in if missing.

I have updated the UserCP to check if people miss the actual Youtube URL and tell them to do it properly.

This should stop a lot of broken links for the weird combinations everyone has been using.

OpenGL 4.3 now available in Mesa for nouveau (NVIDIA) for Maxwell and above

Quoting: GuestMy question is why does Valve work on Nouveau when almost everybody uses the blob and there is basically no hope of getting decent performance with Nouveau on recent cards?
Actually, I believe this was sent for review just before he joined Valve.

Quoting: salamanderrakeBut is there any 2D/3D acceleration with the nouveau drivers yet?
Yes for a number of cards, but not for newer cards as noted. It depends on what card.

Quoting: pete910Interesting to see pascal on this
As I've explained on reddit though, having the OpenGL feature set is one thing, having re-clocking (for performance) and other card features are entirely different things.
Kinda what I was getting at, I mean how much testing could be done on Maxwell/Pascal GPU's

There effectively useless on the oss driver for the most part.
Well, not really. As soon as the re-clocking comes to bring up performance, they then already have the OpenGL needed for some recent games.
