Quoting: MyeulCI have added it into the view pc info box, good idea. I've also added a link to edit your profile at the top of your profile too, another good idea.Quoting: liamdaweI am also still deciding on the best place to link to the stats page.Maybe with the GOL Footer ? (This one is just a random suggestion). Also in the "view PC info" section, computer info section on users profile, and their user CP (Would be great to have a link to the CP on one's profile page, too).
Quoting: tuubiYes, I like this idea. I will experiment and see how easy it will be for me to implement an "Other" bar.Quoting: liamdaweHow about a single, eleventh "others" entry instead with everything under the threshold added up? You could list the individual distros in this entry's tooltip (using the <title> SVG element) if the graphs allow it.Quoting: operaSteamOS is missing in the Linux Distributions graph. No, graphs are limited to 10. All others simply don't have enough users to register on it.
I will look into a "view all" link so people can get a full list if they desire.

Quoting: winateNice work so far. I like the changes. If I had one gripe though, it'd be with the RAM. Is having all 64 choices really necessary? I think the current selection in the graph is good: 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 12, 16, 24, 32, 64. Maybe put 1GB and "Other" in there as well. I mean really, who's going to have 37GB of RAM? :PHeh yeah I will think on how to better populate the dropdown for the RAM picker.
Also, I don't see any way to get to the user stats page outside of this article and the current stickied notification on the main page. Maybe put it in the sidebar? I don't know.
I am also still deciding on the best place to link to the stats page.

Was hoping GOG would have picked up on it, sad to hear it still happens.

Quoting: CronckSo im still new to some things Linux- got BroForce on GOG, install SH file making it run in term. Says its installed plays a lil intro but then screen goes black... any ideas?Their Linux version is a bit flaky at the best of times, run it in terminal if you can. Sometimes Broforce does just crap out though.

I have also added all these extra bits into the pc info overlay now too so it's up to date (I really need to make that share code with the profiles).

Yup, tried to just now, but for some odd reason 1920x1200 is showing before 1920x1080 so the sorting is a little off for those two :/
Fixed it.

Quoting: GuestYup, that will do!Quoting: liamdaweHmm, not sure exactly what to do with that part. Maybe a note to make people aware it will still show up, and have an extra option to disable it so everyone is happy? All easy to do.As far as I’m concerned nothing has to change. If you go for the additional checkbox I think it would be better to add a checkbox next to the distro setting that says "Show on comments even if profile is private". That way you don’t have to add a note and things stay consistent.
Quoting: MyeulCWhile you're at it, could you please consider putting he resolution graph in the same order as the drop down, or sorting it by pixel count, essentially doing the same as for the RAM graphics?
Fixed it.

Not sure how easy it would be to do, but would people be interested if I put up a downloadable sheet of the stats so that we have completely open data? Again I need to stress no user details would be inside it, so no privacy issues.
I know people asked for it before with our old survey done with google.
