Yeah, they became a publisher too. The spamming of other games across updates for unrelated games can often be quite annoying, lots of publishers do it now.

I'm not wanting to once again get drawn into a debate about Native vs Proton, but support is generally important yes. Native Linux? Not so much. Proton is awesome (and arguably Proton is Native, it's running right on your machine), and Proton is supported very well by Valve. And we've seen numerous developers covered right here on GOL making their games run well in Proton and for Steam Deck.

From there I only had "Login", "Settings", and "Power" options. Choosing "Login" did nothing, but "Settings" let me exit the Preview version and get my Steam Deck up and running again (after another reboot).

I'll give it another shot at upgrading over the weekend, but in a year of owning the device and participating in either beta or preview releases, this is the first time I've ever had an issue!

I did hear a few had issues, but I updated my OLED just now to no issues :)

I guess we have a different definition of "a lot". Going by their publisher page [External Link], it's pretty rare actually. The last was Two Point Campus, 2022. Before that were Total War games from Feral, which they no longer do for Linux, and before that Two Point Hospital in 2018.

The majority of their Linux titles were either Feral, or all those retro emulated games in the SEGA collection. I really don't see any of these titles having Native Linux support.
