Quoting: KeyrockI've never had luck with that PPA. I've tried several times at different times, including just now, and always get a 404 Not Found when trying to update for those repos. I either have the worst timing or those repos have been abandoned.
Odd, what distro/version? I used it today, and it worked fine for me.

Minimon Monster Catcher Released In Steam Early Access (UPDATED)

Quoting: pbBut the dev's review is just one review. If I'm not sure about the game. I just wait until a dozen or more reviews appear, it's not uncommon that a game has 100% positives out of 1-2 first reviews and then goes to 50% after more people give their opinion. So in my opinion it's good to write an article about a new game, share one's first impressions, give some opinion, but to center the article around the fact that a dev left the first review? Not really.
As pointed out, the guy isn't even a developer, he's nothing to do with it other than doing a little bit of testing before release.

Yes, reviews do tend to level out after a few, but that's not the point.

We always point out when people do shady/stupid things, we always have, and always will. These are my first impressions, the first impression I got was someone claiming they are a developer writing up a completely bogus review.

Quoting: pbIt's really childish to judge the game based on that a developer wrote a review on it. Especially if you're not even sure if it was a developer's review in the first place.
You say childish, I say cautious. If people are going to buy something, they need to know it's a legit game and not some hunk of junk with developers fudging reviews. It's quite important.
