Steam Client Gets A Major Update
9 Dec 2013 at 2:18 pm UTC

Steam loads within a few seconds for me so not sure what issues you are facing, I don't even have a strong processor either, AMD APU. Same with shutting down, it's my irc client that slows my shutdown not Steam.

You can select what games auto update in the properties, you have been able to do this for as long as I can remember as well.

Unvanquished FPS/RTS Hybrid Release Alpha 22 With A New Map
6 Dec 2013 at 2:48 pm UTC

Well it will be relevant to open source fans, besides what happens when those 2 games are no longer active by the developers? They die.

With a game like this other people can pop in and take over easily.

I meant the titles for the news posts here on GOL, i didn't mean change the project name but not many people know what OpenMW is when they see it.

Maybe something like "OpenMW open source Morrowind engine release x" or something like that in future?

Quoting: Quoteit actually looks better than the PS4 and Xbox One
It depends on tastes. For me it looks cheap and as boring as the PS4 and Xbone or any other high-tech mass market product. And that light bar must be annoyingly distracting when playing in a dark room.
I hate to stare at a bright screen in the dark, it's why i very rarely go to the cinema, talk about headaches :(

I think it looks really quite something personally, I bet we will see a lot of interesting designs coming out of people though just wait and see.

Rage Under Wine, How It Performs

Quoting: Quote from HamishIndeed, he went to join Occulus full time. Which means there is a good chance that Zenimax will never put out the id Tech 5 source code, but I honestly can not blame Carmark for looking to greener fields. At the very least, we have the Doom 3: BFG source code.
Well it's good that's out and I hope the latest engine release helps open-source game devs at least.

I suppose it would help if I noted that at the end - yes I would buy it :) that video was cut from a 35 minute play session and I'm pretty sure I was still quite early in the game.
